But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts. Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope,
1 Peter 3:15
Lord God, we give you the greatest but most humble obeisance, for you occupy the Seat of Mercy and are the Most High, perfect in glory, honor and majesty. We sanctify and exalt your Holy Name. You have given us the promise of your new covenant with us and we increase our faith in your gospel truth and rely with trust on your unfailing promises to lead us to you, through obedience to your Holy Will and the wisdom, guidance and counsel of your Holy Spirit.
With our Lord Jesus’ teaching of the great truths of your Heavenly Kingdom and his exhortations to rebuild our faith, and be reconciled with your Holy Will for our lives, we repent for separating from you, leading sinful and wayward lives, chained to sin and deadened in our hearts. Jesus restored our hope with Scripture, which resurged our faith. He opened our eyes and hearts through his message of love and the reward of eternal salvation through your grace and through his enormous sacrificial death.
Lord, forgive us sinners for becoming spiritually blind and causing you intense sorrow by our offenses. We look forward to the hope of eternal life in your presence and the glory awaiting us as children of God, partaking in the inheritance of your providence for all who endure their crosses and sufferings, righteously seeking your Heavenly Kingdom and following the right path. We will courageously profess our faith and beliefs in testimony of our Living God, even in the face of persecution, meekly and humbly submitting to your Holy Will, in the Name of Jesus. Amen
