“Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.” – 1 Peter 3:9

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, aware of our human failings, but trusting in Your loving Mercy and Compassion. Lord, teach us to rise above the impulses of the flesh that often seek revenge and retaliation. When we are hurt, misunderstood, or insulted, may Your Spirit guide us to respond in love and grace instead of anger, remembering that every person is made in Your image, and that our actions can either bring healing or deepen wounds. Let us overcome evil with good, as You have shown us through Your Son, Jesus.

Lord, we acknowledge that blessing those who harm us is not easy, yet You have called us to this higher standard, promising that our obedience will lead to a greater blessing. May Your Word dwell richly in our hearts. When faced with moments of conflict, remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil. Help us to sow seeds of peace and forgiveness. May our words and actions be a testimony to Your transforming power, drawing others to You, and strengthen our hearts to follow the example of Christ, who endured insult and injury with patience and compassion.

Father, we ask for Your grace to become peacemakers in our families, communities, and the world. Let our lives radiate the light of Your love, showing that blessings flow from a heart surrendered to You. May we trust in Your promises, knowing that in blessing others, we too will inherit blessings from Your abundance. Use us as instruments of reconciliation, healing, and hope in a world desperate for Your truth and grace. In every interaction, may we glorify You, growing in humility and love, as we live according to Your will. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen
