For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7, NIV
Abba Father, you are our stronghold and sanctuary, the Author of our destiny. Your Holy Spirit, dwelling in us, is a testament of your Divine Providence, for only with the intercession of your Spirit are we enabled to conquer cowardice and become spiritual warriors, fearless in preaching and practicing your holy gospel. We offer complete surrender under your sovereign guidance and control. We are fortunate to have received sonship in Christ’s unconditional and sacrificial offering on the cross the price of his earthly life for our redemption, whereby, we are no longer slaves, but co-heirs of your Heavenly Kingdom. With childlike trust in your justice and mercy, we forge our way onward, donning the armor of Christian ardor, courage and self austerity, preserving, building up and defending our Christian faith and consciously expelling evildoing and sin. We plead to fulfill the commission entrusted to us, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
