For this is what the high and exalted One says – he who lives forever, whose name is holy: “I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.” Isaiah 57:15
God of Power and Might, only true and Living God inhabiting the whole of time and space, transcending all, Master of all, your creation extols your Holy Name and reverences you from everlasting to everlasting, our compassionate God of Salvation and author of our lives. We worship you as the all in all, the Alpha and the Omega, the God who, being above all powers and principalities, descended from his place on high, to serve and save a condemned humanity.
Lord, you supply us with the riches of your glory and your grace is upon those believing in your promises and knowing you intimately, because you have revealed your love and understanding by upholding us when we were doomed, saving us when we were enslaved to sin, releasing our bondages by breaking the chains of the evil one, descending to the level of repentant mankind and defeating sin and death for all eternity.
Lord, you have given us access to you through your Holy Spirit, knowing our weaknesses and using your strength to sustain us, to hold us close to you, to comfort and give us assurance, to forgive us and reinstate us as your children. You give us hope of a life with you, of being co-heirs in your kingdom and we are certain our faith will lead us to you, for our hearts, humble and contrite, have received the love of God, through Jesus, our Messiah. Amen
