The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. – Lamentations 3:25-26
Father God, we exalt and glorify our Mighty, Omnipotent, Omniscient God, for your inexhaustible mercy is always there to shelter, defend, guide, save and heal us in our unworthiness. At the dawn of every new day, as darkness gives way to light and new wisdom in that light, we look towards you, renewing our hope, trust and belief in your faithfulness and unshakeable promises. Father, we wait in patience and perseverance to behold the divine light of your Countenance. For in the stillness of our waiting, we will find communion in you. We surrender ourselves to you, for you are our hope and consolation, you are our salvation.
Lord, your unfailing love towards humanity is unparalleled and your mercies are fresh as the morning dew. We are ever aware of our perverse nature and sinful ways but with the help of your saving grace, the wicked one will have no power over us and we will, with your aid, gain victory and rise in faith and hope.. Every fall from grace we will use, to climb to higher spirituality and transformation in our lives. We pray for strength to turn every calamity into a renewal of mind, heart and spirit and every condemnation of sin into deeper purification of our souls, for the glory of your Holy Name.
Lord, we trust you infinitely, for you have dealt justly with all, restoring those who believe in your dominion over all things. You are the One Who has awarded salvation to your people. Through your help and comfort, your grace and benefits, everything becomes fruitful, good and evil, life and death, health and suffering. Give us your strength in our weakness Lord, to help us grow in courage and in patience, that in living righteous lives, we will, through humility and obedience, find our way to you. We will follow you all the days of our lives, for only in you are we fortified and sanctified, and made holy to stand before you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
