Micah 4: 1-2

7 December, 2020

In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it. Many nations will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Micah 4:1–2

God of creation, all peoples and nations will prostrate before you in the times to come and as each of your promises are fulfilled, as they ultimately will be, your name will be exultantly and triumphantly elevated and all dominions will submit to you, as the kingdom of the Most High is established on the earth.

Every precious promise, relating to the gospel church, will be fulfilled, for he is faithful that has promised. In the last days of the Messiah, Christ himself will build his glorious church, and eternal peace shall reign. All your people will cleave to you, Lord, with full purpose of heart, and delight in doing your will, walking according to your divine word, receiving the law from your hands, which, being written in our hearts by your Spirit, may show our interest in the redeemer’s righteousness.

All nations assembling against Zion to rejoice in her calamities will be destroyed and Zion will be strengthened to beat them to pieces. When you, God, plan to overtake every domain that is rightly yours, you will furnish your people with strength and ability to conquer and all your foes will be vanquished and devastated .

As believers we beseech you, with the prayer of faith, to accomplish what you have promised, ending our distress, as we wait in hope for your kingdom to come, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
