THE 27TH OF SEPTEMBER
GOD IS THE FATHER OF EVERY FAMILY IN HEAVEN AND EARTH
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom every family in heaven and earth is named, – Ephesians 3:14-15
When the apostle Paul realized the greatness of God’s plan of salvation that joins Jews and Gentiles together in Jesus Christ, he humbled himself and bowed his knees in reverence before Father God Almighty. If God had not chose to extend salvation to all of us, we could do nothing to become part of His people.
Every family, or body of rational beings in heaven and earth are united under God’s fatherhood, and we all bear the name of a common ancestor, as God created us all. God is the first and ultimate Father and in this sense, every rational being is His child. To be His child for eternity is possible only by salvation through Jesus Christ, but while still here, each person has a chance to be saved.
SUGGESTED PRAYER
What an honor and privilege to be Your child, dear Lord! You took time to decide how You want me to look like, how to be, in what family to be born, in what location on earth, what would be the right calling for my life and so much more. I bow my knees in reverence to You dear Lord, as Paul did and praise and thank You with all my heart for the greatness of Your plan that includes my salvation and gives me the chance to be with You forever. Glory and praises to Your holy Name. Amen.
