THE 6th OF SEPTEMBER
WE ARE REDEEMED AND FORGIVEN THROUGH JESUS CHRIST
“In Him, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” – Ephesians 1:7
Once we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He rescues and saves us from our sinful ways. In the Old Covenant, a sinner would bring an animal to be sacrificed by the priest, and its shed blood would cover their sin. However, under the New Covenant, the blood of Jesus shed on the cross not only covers our sins when we sincerely repent, but completely removes them forever.
The consequence of sin is death, but Jesus died in our place so that everyone who accepts His forgiveness will, after leaving this life, be with Him, enjoying His presence for eternity. All we need to do to receive complete forgiveness is believe in Jesus and genuinely repent, thanks to God’s amazing grace.

Lord, how incredible is Your grace and love! Only after realizing the depth of Your love for me—that You sent Your beloved Son to die for me—did I discover true joy. Every time I thank You for Your love, You renew it within my spirit! You place no special conditions on how I should receive Your love; it is simply up to me to connect with You and acknowledge Your love for me, to experience it fully once again. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for all You have done and continue to do for me each day. All glory and honor to Your Holy Name. Amen
