Many, Lord, are asking, “Who will bring us prosperity?” Let the light of your face shine on us. Psalm 4:6, NIV
Creator God, we repose in the safety of your palm, fearless and trusting in our Glorious Maker, our Lord and our God, from Whom all things good and wholesome emanate, in the earth and in the skies. You pour upon us the perpetual benediction of your pleasure in your creation. Our only hope is in you, Lord, as we hunger for the favor of your benevolent presence and strive to avoid your displeasure, knowing it will bring in its wake unbearable distress and infamy. It is our fervent and humble supplication that we please you, Heavenly Father. Mold us and weave us according to your intent and our merit Lord, to make us worthy and honourable, with your Spirit’s wisdom in our minds and virtue in our hearts. We are made perfect, Lord, when we surrender ourselves into your hands, for only you can heal, restore and turn our lives aright. Shower upon your children the benefit of your pure and translucent countenance, to replenish our souls, we implore in Jesus’ Name. Amen
