Abba Father, you are our God who formed us out of dust in your image and breathed life into us. You are our Maker and we are beholden to you and greatly give you thanks, praising you and laying our offerings of hearts full of love and thankfulness at the foot of your throne.
You have transformed our lives by your immeasurable love for mankind, even in the midst of man’s disgrace at betraying you, our Creator, thus provoking your wrath. Though you turned your face from us, you relented out of your unchanging love and compassion and brought us to acknowledge the error of our ways by the redemptive sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ in rescuing us from perdition and peril, gently leading us and reinstating us as your chosen ones.
Our faith in Jesus Christ’s teachings, his revelations of the good news of our salvation and eternal life by your grace has enlightened us to the truth of your Word and your covenanted promises. The holy gospel has sanctified our minds and purified our hearts. Your Holy Spirit has guided us to the Light and to true love of our magnificent God, who surrounds us with grace, love and favor, delighting in us, your children by adoption, co-heirs of your inheritance in heaven. You rescued us out of love for us, and we abhor our sinful nature. With cleansed and pure hearts we worship our Loving God, our Stronghold, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
