MICHAEL COURAGE IN BATTLE
Every soul faces a struggle between good and evil. Michael’s name, “Who is like God?”, reminds us that we do not face these battles alone. When fear, temptation or sin seems overwhelming, we can turn to God with the intercession of Saint Michael, trusting that divine strength is greater than our weakness.
“Michael and his angels fought against the dragon.”

Michael’s victory reminds us to stand firmly in faith, knowing that God’s power is greater than every spiritual struggle.
GABRIEL SILENCE AND LISTENING
Gabriel announced God’s plan to Mary with a message of grace. His presence reminds us that God often speaks in the stillness of our hearts rather than in noise and confusion. We are called to cultivate silence and attentiveness so that we may recognise God’s voice through Scripture, conscience and the events of daily life.
“Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God.”

Gabriel’s message to Mary teaches us to listen with an open heart and respond to God with trust.
RAPHAEL HEALING AND JOURNEYING
Raphael accompanied Tobias on his journey and became an instrument of healing. His story reminds us that healing can be physical, emotional, relational and spiritual. Along our own journey, God may bring healing through companionship, kindness, reconciliation, unexpected peace or the presence of someone who walks beside us.
“Raphael, one of the seven angels who stand ready and enter before the glory of the Lord.”

Raphael’s companionship with Tobias reminds us that God can guide and heal us through those whom He places along our path.
THE ANGELIC HIERARCHY WORSHIP AND MISSION
The angels continually turn towards the glory of God, and their service flows from worship. They remind us that genuine service begins with prayer and adoration. When we place God at the centre of our lives, our work for others becomes an expression of His love.
“Bless the Lord, all you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word.”

The angels teach us that faithful service begins by listening to God and seeking His glory above our own.
GUARDIAN ANGELS THE HIDDEN PRESENCE
God gives His angels to guide and protect His children. Their hidden presence reminds us that we are never truly alone, even in moments of loneliness, fear or discouragement. We can ask our guardian angel for guidance and protection and remain confident in God’s loving care.
“For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”
— Psalm 91:11
God’s promise of angelic protection assures us that His loving care accompanies us wherever we go.
THE THREE NAMED ARCHANGELS HUMILITY OF HEAVEN
Although Scripture reveals countless angels, only Michael, Gabriel and Raphael are named. This reminds us that many acts of love are performed quietly and without recognition. Like the angels who serve unseen, we are called to value humility, faithful service and love more than praise or recognition.

The angels remind us that true greatness is found in humble service rather than in recognition or honour.
THE ARCHANGELS REMIND US
The Archangels remind us that God’s presence, protection, guidance and healing are close to us. Through their ministry, we are encouraged to remain faithful, courageous and attentive to God’s presence. We can face every struggle with trust, knowing that heaven continually points us towards the Lord.
“Are they not all ministering spirits sent to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?”

The Archangels encourage us to live with faith and confidence, knowing that God surrounds His children with His loving care.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the holy angels whom You send to guide, protect and strengthen us. Through the intercession of Saint Michael, give us courage in every battle. Through Saint Gabriel, teach us to listen to Your voice and respond with faith. Through Saint Raphael, bring healing to our hearts, bodies and relationships. May our guardian angels continually guide us towards You. Help us to live with humility, serve with love and remain faithful to Your will. May the angels lead us ever closer to Your presence and protect us on our journey to heaven. Amen.
