Our Lady of Grace Church in Papdy, Vasai is one of the oldest and most significant Catholic churches in the region. The parish was established around 1574 by Jesuit missionaries, making it among the earliest Christian communities in Vasai. With the creation of the Diocese of Vasai in 1998, Our Lady of Grace Church, Papdy was elevated to a cathedral church, making it the central church of the diocese.
