There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. – 1 Samuel 2:2
Lord our God, Rock and Stronghold of all, who believing, take shelter in you, your attributes are unparalleled and there is none to equal your perfection and purity, your faithfulness and infallibility, your glory and graciousness, your love and your pure, unequalled, impartial justice. For you know what lies in the innermost recesses of mortal minds, the craving, the deviousness and also the devoted and purified believers of the faith.
You deal justly with the proud and mighty, and assess the true holiness and worthiness of all who plead their cause. You have strengthened your true people in their weakness, you have upheld the repentant and have also fulfilled your promise in giving deliverance to the world by sending your Son, whom you had incarnated by your grace and holiness, to save us from destruction.
You Lord, are Immortal, and everything emanating from you, testifies the truth of your perfection and holiness. Your magnanimity in adopting us to sonship and co-heirs with Jesus, denotes to us the magnitude, magnificence and unconditional love you have for your creation. You are the foundation of the world. For your Glory’s sake, you have taken away our sins and by our faith, have rewarded us with eternal salvation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
