There is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. – 1 Timothy 2:5-6
Heavenly Father, we praise You for being the one true God, full of mercy and truth, who has revealed Yourself through Jesus Christ our Lord. We glorify You for Your great love that sought us when we were lost, for Your grace that provides a way of salvation, and for Your wisdom that unites heaven and earth in Your redemptive plan. You alone are worthy of honor, worship, and thanksgiving forever.
Your Word declared in the above verse reveals the uniqueness of Christ’s work on the cross, showing that salvation is not through many ways but through the one way provided by God Himself. Jesus, fully God and fully man, became the bridge between a holy God and sinful humanity, offering His life as the ransom to set us free. This truth reminds us of the depth of God’s love and the completeness of Christ’s sacrifice.
Lord, we humbly pray that this truth would shape our faith and our lives. Help us to hold fast to Christ as our only Mediator and Savior. Teach us to share this message with others in love, that all may know the one who gave Himself as a ransom for all. Strengthen our hearts to walk in gratitude and obedience, living each day in the freedom and peace that comes through Jesus Christ, our Mediator and Redeemer. Amen
