Abba Father, you are the One True God, Omniscient and Omnipresent, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End and your dominion is from everlasting to everlasting. There is no other God besides you and your Covenant of Truth, spread through the Gospel, binds us forever, as your chosen people, redeemed, justified and saved forever, to an eternal life by grace and by our faith, by dying to self and living in Christ Jesus, through the Power of the Holy Spirit, our counsellor and guide.
Lord, there are many false prophets and self proclaimed leaders, trying to discredit and misinterpret your Holy Doctrine of Truth, taught to us by your disciples and evangelists. You have given us your Holy Spirit to teach and instruct us in discerning the truth and rejecting and renouncing the distorted gospel of convenience preached by the several denominations of anti-Christians, thwarting the real Word of Truth and presenting before people who are ready to discredit the truth in search of pleasure seeking ways, a false doctrine, thus dishonoring the teachings of Christ.
Help us Lord to readily accept and follow the Cross of Christ, ready to suffer for the sake of our faith, seeking to store just rewards in the Heavenly Kingdom to which we are called as children of God. May we not indulge in the trite ways of this world, but be discerning and judiciously follow the real doctrine of Christ, which does not purport to please people, but reveals the life of faith, hope and charity which we must lead, in service of our fellowmen and as true disciples of Christ. Teach us to practice the ways of our Lord Jesus Christ which is free of prejudice and hypocrisy in a bid to please men, but may we live in the true manner propagated by our Savior Jesus Christ, thus abiding in him. Amen
