OBEDIENCE TO GOD ABOVE ALL
“We must obey God rather than men.”

Catherine desired to live a life fully consecrated to God, even within marriage. By mutual agreement with her husband, she embraced a life of chastity and prayer. After his death, she chose to dedicate herself entirely to God. Her life teaches that true obedience is not merely external, but springs from a deep interior surrender to God’s will, even when it goes against social expectations.
HOLINESS IN FAMILY LIFE
“Train up a child in the way he should go.”

As the daughter of Saint Bridget of Sweden, Catherine grew up in an atmosphere of deep faith. She accompanied her mother on pilgrimages, including a journey to Rome, learning to live a life rooted in prayer and charity.Her life reminds us that holiness often begins at home, shaped by example, guidance, and shared devotion.
FIDELITY IN SUFFERING

PRAYER
O God, who guided Saint Catherine of Sweden in a life of purity, courage, and faithful service, grant us the grace to follow Your will with steadfast hearts. Teach us to remain faithful in trials, humble in success, and devoted in prayer. May we seek Your glory in all things and grow in holiness each day. Amen
