“If Your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.” – Exodus 33:15
O Lord Almighty, we praise You for Your glorious presence that goes before us and sustains us. You are the God who is near, not distant; the One who walks with His people and makes His dwelling among us. We exalt You for Your unfailing love, for in Your presence there is fullness of joy, peace, and strength. Without You, O Lord, life is empty, but with You, we are richly blessed and never alone.
Moses understood that no journey, no success, and no blessing is worthwhile without the abiding presence of our God. It was not the Promised Land itself that mattered most, but the assurance that You, O God, would walk with Your people. This verse reminds us that the true treasure is not in what You give, but in Your Presence, which guides, protects, and sanctifies us.
Gracious Lord, we humbly ask that Your presence be with us in every step of our lives. Go before us in our decisions, our struggles, and our journeys. May we not seek blessings apart from You, but desire above all else to walk in Your nearness. Keep us dependent on You, teach us to listen for Your voice, and let our hearts always be anchored in Your presence, for without You we are nothing, but with You we have all that we need. Amen
