Isaiah 43: 1-2

March 12, 2020
But now, this is what the Lord says – he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” Isaiah 43:1-2

Dear Father in heaven, we thank you for the gift of your light in our hearts, allowing us to have faith in you. We thank you for your light, which shows us the many ways you save us from need, darkness, and death. In the midst of this darkness you keep our hearts safe so that we can be faithful until your time comes, the time when you will reveal yourself to the world, and when all voices will cry out as one, “Yes, Father in heaven, we thank you. You have redeemed us all.”

We know that you are a faithful God, Who will never abandon us or leave us orphaned, but Who will uplift us in the most difficult periods of our life. Through strife and sorrow, you will carry us in the palm of your Mighty Hand, for you are a Redeemed, dear God, and you come to save, never ever to condemn, if we seek you with sincerity and trust. You are our Father and you will not let your children slip away, for you never apportion to anyone, more pain than they can endure.

Lord, our Eternal Father, when you saved us from bondage, you awarded us eternal salvation, won for us by our Saviour Jesus Christ, your Most Be loved Son, and at that very instant, you made us your very own. We are your sons  and daughters, formed by you, each having a name and identity and your co-heirs of an eternal inheritance in your Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus has given us an unshakable promise that he is preparing a place for all who abide in him, and adhere to your Holy Will. As we await and live out the plans you have drawn for us, we rejoice in your greater glory and majesty, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
