James 1:2-3

12 April, 2021

Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you encounter various trials, for you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
James 1:2‭-‬3

Abba Father, our reverence for your faithfulness and righteousness resonates throughout the atmosphere, for you are the Ruler of heaven and earth and the mountains, the oceans, and all of creation hearken and are obedient to your call, for we have everything if we abide in you and are nothing, without you. You are our Refuge, our Shelter from the storms that weather our lives. We endeavor and pray to remain confidently and consistently rooted in you, for the welfare of our souls.

Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, showed us the meaning of perfect obedience to your Holy Will, and also displayed the endurance received as a gift of grace from you, when we walk in your ways. Jesus taught us the meaning of the ultimate sacrifice of giving our lives for your glory and becoming beneficiaries of our salvation as a free gift dispensed and distributed to all who, through strength in suffering and carrying one’s cross, come righteously into your Holy Presence.

God, we seek you in all our troubles and believe you are more profoundly with us, through all the storms of our lives. You are always present, making a roadway in the wilderness, a river in the desert, a stairway to our heavenly abode, where we can rest in perfect peace and contentment, gazing at your holy countenance and contemplating with joy, our Savior’s face, finally unveiled and revealed. We pray that our perseverance and steadfastness in all our tribulations bring us, with increased faith, to our heavenly goal, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
