You shall be holy to me, for I the LORD am holy and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine.
Leviticus 20:26
Dear Heavenly Father, your name is holy in all the earth. You are the Master of all creation, the Creator of heaven and earth and we are but your lowly, mortal creation. Help us to always choose to be holy and to do only your Holy Will every step of the way in our lives. We need to live and walk in perfect integrity, not following the way the world lives and thus bearing the consequences, but to live as you want me to live and receive the blessings of obedience and favor, which you dispense to your faithful followers.
Uphold us with your right hand and protect your children everywhere on earth, helping them stay on the right path in the midst of all temptation and trial. Fill us with your grace, so that we grow stronger in faith and works, praising and glorifying your Holy Name among people of all nations. May your dominion spread to the ends of the earth, and may you reign on earth as in heaven. Lord, you made salvation available to us. Because you saved us, we are now your obedient children and a part of your family, and we desire the richest of your Glory, dear Father, in living always, in perfect alignment of your Holy Will.
In our own strength, Lord, it is impossible to be holy. We implore you, by the Power of your Holy Spirit, to enable us to ever walk in the Light of Faith, avoiding the darkness of sin and evil. May we grow in the fruits and charisms of the Spirit, humbling ourselves everyday, to follow in Christ’s footsteps, carrying out our Christian duties and presenting ourselves daily, before your altar, as worthy children of a Righteous God. May the Spirit of Truth guide us on the pathway of holiness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
