The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. – Mark 12:10
Heavenly Father, I come before You today with a heart open to Your Word. I see the image of rejection turned into glory — the stone cast aside becoming the very foundation. Lord, I acknowledge that in my life, I too have overlooked or dismissed things and people You consider precious. Help me to see with Your eyes, to value what You value, and to remember that Your purposes are never thwarted by human rejection.
Jesus, You were that rejected stone — despised, misunderstood, and crucified, yet You rose to become the Cornerstone of our salvation. In my moments of rejection, doubt, or isolation, remind me that You understand deeply, and that nothing is wasted in Your kingdom. Let my pain be shaped into purpose, my weakness into testimony, and my trials into firm footing upon which You build something eternal.
Lord, help me build my life on You, the true Cornerstone. Teach me to trust in Your plans even when they don’t align with the world’s expectations. Strengthen my faith so that I may not be swayed by rejection or discouragement, but rather find joy in knowing that I am part of something far greater — Your living temple. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
