“Blessed are those whose strength is in You, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage”
Psalm 84:5
O Lord Almighty, how wonderful are Your ways and how blessed are those who find their strength in You. For You are the fountain of life and the source of all joy. In Your presence there is fullness of peace, and in Your dwelling place our souls find rest. Blessed be Your Holy Name, for You alone are worthy of praise, honor, and thanksgiving forevermore.
Our true strength does not come from our own abilities or resources, but from abiding in You. Those who look to You and keep their hearts fixed on the journey toward Your eternal dwelling are the ones truly blessed. The pilgrim’s path may be filled with trials, but their hope and endurance are sustained because You walk with them.
Gracious Lord, we pray that our hearts may be set on You alone, that we may find our strength not in ourselves, but in Your presence. Keep our eyes fixed on the eternal pilgrimage toward Your kingdom, and grant us the grace to walk faithfully even through valleys of difficulty. Let our journey be filled with joy and trust, knowing that blessed are those whose strength is in the Lord. Amen
