Romans 8:1

20 August, 2020

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1

We are your chosen ones, Father God, and have the elation and honor of being adopted as co-heirs, to forever join the angels’ voices in zealous worship and praise of you. Although we had, through sin, committed the heresy of separating from you eternally, incurring the penalty of death, what we couldn’t retrieve as a result of our treachery was accomplished by Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. He instituted the Sacrament of Communion, binding us, God, to you forever, and bringing about our restoration through the gift of the Holy Spirit within us. Our salvation in Christ comes by our faith in the fulfillment of the promises of the Covenant of love you entrusted him with. Jesus our Messiah resolved our fate when he, out of pure obedience to you entered the earthly sphere in mortal garb and relinquished his life for our eternal salvation and heritage to your Kingdom. He emptied himself, to the last drop of blood, to obtain recompense and atonement for us, reconciling us with you for all eternity. He magnificently ended the deadlock of separation from you, destroying the forces of darkness and absolving us of the censure of unrighteous disobedience to your Divine Will and with it, eternal damnation. With penitent hearts we dedicate our lives to following your ordinances, and abiding forevermore in the light of your glory, in Christ’s Name alone we acclaim. Amen
