TODAY’S GOSPEL READING
14 SEPTEMBER, 2025
John 3:13-17
Jesus said to Nicodemus:
“No one has gone up to heaven
except the one who has come down from heaven, the Son of Man.
And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert,
so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.”
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him might not perish
but might have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world might be saved through him.
THE GOSPEL OF THE LORD!

REFLECTION
Today’s Gospel reminds us of the immense love of God. He did not hold back His only Son but offered Him for our salvation. The Cross, which once symbolized suffering and death, now stands as the ultimate sign of love, mercy, and hope. Our response is to believe, trust, and live our lives in gratitude, bringing the light of Christ to others.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who gave His life for our salvation. Strengthen our faith, deepen our love, and guide us to live according to Your will. May we carry the message of the Cross in our hearts and share Your love with the world. Amen
