The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty. He will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy. He will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. The Lord, the everlasting One, who changeth not. – Zephaniah 3:17
Abba Father, Mighty God, Maker and Ruler of Heaven and Earth, of all things manifest and invisible, there is no other God, but you. It is truly heartening to know that your love for us is totally unconditional, that you accept us just as we are, and we don’t need to change or labor, to earn your love. All you need from us is our deepest, devotional, unceasing love and obedience, as enumerated in your new covenant. We truly exult in being among your chosen ranks, exalting your Name to the high heavens.
You, Gracious Lord are Mighty and your Power can restrain and destroy all enemies, and can support and defend us, for you are here, abiding in us, through your Holy Spirit, through our life in Christ and we are assured of the joy you take in our faithfulness. For you are a Steadfast and Righteous God, ready to save us, from all our fears, and from the attaks of the enemy, by your Mighty Right Hand. We extol your Name forever.
You delight in your creation with great and overwhelming joy, an enjoyment which endures and never changes, always watchful over us, always saving and restoring us, to rest peacefully, contentedly and with the utmost satisfaction in your immeasurable love. Your greatest happiness is when we mirror your love and return it to you in the same proportion. Your everloving promises to us is eternal, and we want for nothing more, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
