Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new. – 2 Corinthians 5: 17
Eternal Father, you have created us in your image and we have your Spirit breathed into us. Father, all creation gives you glory and we praise and worship your Holy Name for weaving us into your plan of creation, strengthening, succouring and sustaining us and loving us with deep fatherly affection. You have blessed us and even when we disobeyed you, instead of leaving us enslaved, you took it upon yourself to bring us out of the darkness of evil regions, into the light of your Heavenly grace. Lord, you are our God and we cleave to you, united in you.
Jesus our Messiah and Savior, our Deliverer and Redeemer, has, by your most perfect and divine plan of salvation, sacrificed his life as a ransom for our sins, giving us the promise and assurance of an eternal life, through faith in him. We believe that he is the resurrected Lord, ascended into heaven and making a place in the heavenly domains for all who cling to him in faith and hope and turn their face away from evil, renewed and justified by his Blood, saved and sanctified and reconciled to our God, as his own. We have access to your grace by our faith and rejoice in hope at our gaining salvation for the sake of your glory.
We call upon you, with grateful hearts, Abba Father, for you have rescued us from bondage and through Jesus our Lord, we have been adopted as your children and co-heirs. You bless all those who are members of Christ’s Body with new life. You have forgiven all our iniquities and we are washed pure by the Blood of Christ, receiving discipleship as Christians. You benefit us with grace and favor, according to the riches of your glory, in Jesus’ Name. Thank you Lord, for the blessings of your just dispensation through Christ our Lord. Amen
