Ezekiel 37:5

4 September, 2025

“This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.” – Ezekiel 37:5

O Lord Almighty, You are the God of life and power, the One who formed man from the dust and breathed into him the breath of life. You are worthy of all praise and glory, for in You there is no death or decay, only fullness of life. Your Spirit renews, restores, and revives, and Your Word goes forth to accomplish what You command. We exalt You for being the source of all hope, for in Your presence, dry bones are clothed with life again.

Yours is the unfailing power to bring life where there is only death, to restore hope in hopelessness, and to rebuild what seems beyond repair. The dry bones of Israel represented despair and captivity, yet Your Word promised renewal and revival. It reminds us that no situation is too dead, no heart too hardened, and no life too broken for You to restore by the power of Your Spirit.

Gracious Father, we humbly pray that the breath of Your Spirit may fill us today. Where our faith has grown weak, breathe new strength. Where our hearts have grown cold, breathe warmth and love. Where our hopes have withered, breathe fresh vision and courage. Revive us, O Lord, so that we may live in the fullness of Your Spirit, walking in newness of life and bearing witness to Your redeeming power. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
