Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. Deuteronomy 11:18
Almighty God, we lift our hearts in praise to You, the giver of wisdom and the keeper of our souls. Your Word is life and light, a sure foundation for every step we take. You are faithful to teach, guide, and sustain Your children, and Your commandments reveal Your holy nature. We bless Your name for the privilege of knowing Your truth and for the steadfast love that calls us to walk in Your ways.
The above verse reminds us that Your Word is not meant to remain distant, but to be written deep within our beings, shaping our thoughts, actions, and choices. It urges us to live intentionally, letting Your truth govern both the inner life and outward behavior, so that every aspect of who we are reflects Your will.
Gracious Lord, help us to treasure Your Word, storing it in our hearts and carrying it in our minds each day. May we keep it close, letting it shape our attitudes and guide our steps. Teach us to hold fast to Your promises and walk in obedience, so that Your truth is evident in all we say and do. Seal Your Word within us, and grant us the strength to live faithfully, bringing glory to Your Holy Name. Amen
