For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Isaiah 41:13
Abba Father, our Refuge, our Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, you are the source and foundation of our being, and in you we repose and take shelter in troubled times. Lord, whenever we have sought your protection with humble contrition, you have manifested your presence and enabled us to victoriously vanquish all evil adversity beseting us. In gratefulness, we glorify your Holy Name, which casts away all fear.
You have created us Lord, planning and shaping our lives and its purpose, and we rely on your Holy Word and your Holy Will, to fulfill your plans, bringing them to fruition. But, at times, as mortals, we fall prey to evil designs which draw us away from you and into the ways of sin and wretchedness. Help us to remain faithful and to stay close to you, to gain the favor of your benevolent aid in overcoming temptation. We place complete trust in your timely assistance, to uplift us with your mighty right Hand, restoring us from danger and darkness.
We believe, without the shadow of doubt that, though worldliness may temporarily pull us down, our faith as believers in Jesus will strengthen us and fill us with your supernatural peace, love and wisdom, which will eventually rescue us from potentially dangerous situations. We pray for your continued presence in our lives, leading and guiding us through your Spirit, ready to grip our hand with your authoritative right hand to prevent our falling, holding us steady in faith, and this brings us comfort and succor, in our Savior Jesus’ Name. Amen
