When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.” – Judges 6:12
Praise be to You, Almighty God, for Your steadfast love and unending mercy. You are the God who sees our struggles and delivers us from oppression. Your power and wisdom are unmatched, and Your faithfulness endures through every generation. We glorify You for calling ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary tasks, showing us that Your strength is made perfect in our weakness. Truly, You are our refuge and our salvation, and we lift Your Name high above all else.
We see Your mighty hand at work through Gideon and the leaders of Israel. Despite their fear, doubt, and the oppression surrounding them, You called Gideon to lead with courage and faith. You demonstrated that victory is not by human strength or numbers but through trust in Your guidance. The stories remind us that even when we feel inadequate, You equip us with the wisdom, courage, and resources needed to fulfill Your purposes. Your Spirit empowers us to rise above fear, temptation, and injustice.
Heavenly Father, we pray for the courage and faith to trust in Your plans, even when the path seems impossible. Strengthen our hearts like You strengthened Gideon’s, and help us rely not on our own abilities but on Your power. Teach us to discern Your voice, to act with obedience, and to glorify Your Name in all we do. May we faithfully serve You and be instruments of Your deliverance, bringing hope and justice in our communities. Amen
