THE 18th OF NOVEMBER
REJOICE IN EVERY SITUATION BY LOOKING TO THE LORD
They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.
Psalm 34:5
Take a moment to reflect on what happens when we step into God’s presence. When we choose to focus on the Lord rather than our circumstances, and begin to praise Him for His love, mercy, and kindness, we enter into His presence. As we thank God for His faithfulness and reflect on His past works in our lives, our hearts are uplifted, and our faces radiate with joy. The burden of distress is replaced by the joy of the Holy Spirit, as God’s presence brings light and renewal to those who seek Him.
Our Lord is ever-present, and we should never hesitate to boldly declare our faith in Him. Just as God did not fail David and those who sought refuge with him in Abimelech’s presence, He will not fail us. Though God’s ways may differ from our expectations, they are always for our ultimate good and designed with His perfect wisdom.
SUGGESTED PRAYER
Thank You, Lord, for always standing by my side and providing help when I place my trust in You. Teach me to recognize Your hand at work, even when Your ways differ from what I expect. Help me to continue praising You, confident that Your plans are always for my best. Let me choose to worship You in every situation, entering Your presence with thanksgiving. May my life shine with Your light, drawing others to You. Thank You for Your unending mercy and grace, in Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen
