THE 25th OF MARCH
THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVES US STRENGTH AND HELPS US TO PRAY CORRECTLY
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. – Romans 8:26
The Holy Spirit is God, He is Omniscient and there is nothing He does not know. He knows what is happening in the spiritual world, what demonic powers are involved, and their plans. When we are weak, God, Who prepared the best plan to help us, sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in us, after we came to Jesus, to be our Perfect Helper (“Paracletos“). He is the Comforter, Counselor, Mediator, the One Who strengthens us and inspires us. It is great encouragement that the Holy Spirit, who knows everything, intercedes to the Heavenly Father in our behalf.
The Holy Spirit never judges us by appearances. He always knows exactly what is in our hearts, what we are fighting with in the spiritual world, what caused our reactions, and what the Lord’s will is for us.
SUGGESTED PRAYER
Thank You my Lord for sending your Holy Spirit to be our Comforter, Counselor, Mediator and the One Who strengthens, teaches and leads us on the path of truth. Thank You, Holy Spirit for praying for us and for revealing the truth of Scripture to us. With you to guide us, we can never go wrong, and if we do, we have faith that you will show us the way and bring us back into the light. In Jesus’Name. Amen
