MONTHLY DEVOTIONAL FOR 31 DECEMBER

THE 31st OF DECEMBER

LET US GIVE ALL GLORY TO OUR LORD FOR HIS COUNTLESS BLESSINGS AND FAITHFULNESS

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen.” – Jude 1:24-25

To experience the abundant life that Jesus secured for us on the cross, we must intentionally choose joy. While it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges and frustrations, such feelings only dominate when we focus on the natural. Instead, we should remember that in Jesus, we are victorious regardless of how dire things may appear. The Lord has already won the ultimate battle for us through His sacrifice on the cross. His faithfulness empowers us to live in righteousness and look forward to rejoicing in His glorious presence.

Salvation comes only through Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Even in our moments of pain and discouragement, we can find peace and joy by acknowledging that our Lord alone possesses all wisdom, majesty, dominion, and power. He is more than capable of sustaining us, and He deserves all the glory for His unfailing care and protection.

SUGGESTED PRAYER

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your constant help and protection. Remind me daily that Jesus has set me free from the power of sin, enabling me to choose praise and joy in every situation. Lord, help me yield to the fruit of the Holy Spirit, allowing it to overcome any hurt or negative emotions. All glory, majesty, dominion, and power belong to You, now and forever. Amen
