THE 8th OF APRIL
JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO FATHER GOD
He (Jesus) indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. – 1 Peter 1:20-21
Jesus was chosen before the creation of the earth and all that is on it. God used the virgin Mary to bring Jesus in human form to become one of us and die in our place. God the Father, raised Him from the dead and put Him in the highest position “at His own right hand in the heavenly places, heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.” (Ephesians 1: 20-21).
God the Father did everything for us, together with His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit, so that all our trust and hope is in Him. Only through Jesus can we be faithful to God. Jesus is the only way to the Father. The pagan religions and worldly ecumenical movement try to make us believe that we can reach God through any religion. The Bible specifically shows that Jesus is the only way (John 14: 6). If it were possible for us to be saved any other way, the Son of God would not have had to die. Any other god, promoted by any other religion, is not the true One, but one of the many false ones, that the devil has used to deceive multitudes of people throughout history.
SUGGESTED PRAYER
Thank You Lord God for Your love for me and for the most wonderful plan You have for my life! Please help me to trust You fully, to know for sure that You never forsake me and that through Jesus I can be part of Your family forever! I thank You, Lord Jesus, for opening the way for me to the Father through Your sacrifice and giving me Your righteousness so that I can enter into the heavenly Father’s family! Glory, honor and praise to Your holy Name! Amen
