For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures for ever, and his faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 100:5
Lord God, our Father, we thank you for all the graces and favors you bestow upon your human creation, despite our sinfulness. You are Righteous and Steadfast and have never ever failed or abandoned your adopted children, benefitting us by the light you give us and for all your loving help in every sphere of our lives. Your Truth and Goodness endure forever, dear Lord and we have but to call upon you, to feel the reassurance of your Presence.
We come before your altar Lord, and ask you to give us your your constant guidance for the path we must follow. Grant that what is of heaven may be revealed on earth, that we may rejoice in the good and beautiful things you give to all people. Our Father, reveal what is of heaven, and free people from their sin and darkness so that at last they recognize your glory. Strengthen our hope for this goal. Rule and work in the hearts of many people, that through them your glory may be proclaimed.
We trust and rely on your constancy, dear Father, for your promises are unchangeable and unshakable. Not a single word you speak returns void of the purpose for which it was spoken. Your love of mankind is unfathomable and all you expect of us is absolute obedience and faith. We implore you to give us the wisdom to discern and follow your Holy Will, which keeps us in perpetual communion with you, through the Power of your Holy Spirit. We rest in the confidence of your Everlasting Presence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
