Dear God, Living and Immortal, Merciful beyond compare, we join the carousel of heavenly beings in chanting your praises without end. You have counted us, mere mortals, worthy of receiving deliverance by the Blood of your Son and you have thus marked us for eternity. Help us Lord to wisely and prudently use our fleeting lives to the glory and honor of your Holy Name, to accomplish your Holy Will and thus gain the heavenly recompense of gazing on your glorious countenance, in your gracious presence.
Let your Spirit rain upon us as we strive to fulfill the commission we have received through our Lord Jesus, to flourish your Kingdom to all nations and corners of the earth. Lord, we surrender ourselves to you, to work in us the flame of integrity that no evil influences of our hands may hinder your intentions for us. We cleave to your divine nature, to ward off iniquity, and grow righteously.
Strengthen our resolve to labor towards maturing in faith, works and charity, so that even in the brevity of our time on earth, the fruit of our labor in serving your ministry and earning your blessings, gains us immortality when we receive the inheritance of our reward. Extend your favor upon us every day of our lives, in Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen
