John 15:9-11
Jesus said to his disciples:
“As the Father loves me, so I also love you.
Remain in my love.
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love,
just as I have kept my Father’s commandments
and remain in his love.
“I have told you this so that
my joy might be in you and
your joy might be complete.”

REFLECTION
Jesus speaks of His deep, abiding love—rooted in the love of the Father—as the model for our relationship with Him. Remaining in His love is not passive; it is shown through obedience to His commands. This obedience brings not just duty but fullness of joy. True joy is born from walking in love and alignment with Christ, not from fleeting pleasures. His joy becomes ours when we live in loving faithfulness.
PRAYER
Lord Jesus, thank You for loving me with the same love the Father has for You. Teach me to remain in Your love through obedience, not out of obligation, but from a heart of devotion. Let Your joy dwell in me and overflow into my life. Help me to love as You love, walk as You walked, and abide in You always. Amen
