Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Merciful God, full of love and deepest compassion for your people, your love is absolute, and harbors the bestowing of graces on your appointed people. You work for the good of your chosen ones and we take comfort and are joyful and thankful for the favors and blessing you pour on us. Lord, our lives are wholly consecrated to you and we humbly surrender ourselves to your Holy Will, with full confidence that your plans for us are good and for our betterment.
We pray Lord, for revival and peace in our world, especially in the present day condition, when we are left with prayer as the first and last resort. We pray that you hold back your judgment and that you do not withdraw your hand of blessing. Beginning our day with prayer and reading your Holy Gospel, we continue praying throughout our day, to strengthen our relationship and remain in constant, faithful communication with you, in every circumstance.
Each incident happening in our lives, good or even bad, are for our general benefit, for they are useful in the burnishing of our souls to purify, sanctify and make us holy to come in righteousness and be justified before your Holy throne. Lord, we praise, glorify and thank you for helping us, through the toughest times, being with us, comforting us, and lending courage and perseverance. We walk by faith and not by sight, but in hope, and love, for we are your children, one in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
