Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. – 2 Corinthians 4:16
Lord God, in you is Perfection, Infinity Righteousness, Infallibility, Salvation and Sufficiency. You create and you direct, instruct, redeem, sustain and forgive. You have appointed us as your people and you have manifested abundantly your grace and glory by saving us and adopting us. We believe and trust in you. We exalt, glorify and worship your Holy Name. We consecrate our lives to you.
Lord, you awarded us new life in Christ our Redeemer, by rebirth through baptism by water and the Holy Spirit. The new life we received at salvation, is being transformed into the image and likeness of Christ, as we mature in the faith, grow in grace, and gain a more intimate knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. As Christians, we labour for the salvific message of the gospel of Truth, taking it forward into the world, to the glory of your Holy Name.
Father, we believe in your promise of eternal life through faith in Christ and towards propagating the Kingdom of Heaven and the grace and glory of your Name. Though we suffer, we do not sidestep our sufferings but prevail against all obstacles, for furthering the good of our souls. With your divine assistance, we are confident that though our bodies weaken and deteriorate, you replenish our spirit and make us new everyday, to succeed in our evangelical mission, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
