Ephesians 3: 14-17

2 January, 2021

With this in mind, then, I kneel in prayer to the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name, that out of the treasures of his glory he may grant you strength and power through his Spirit in your inner being, that through faith Christ may dwell in your hearts in love. Ephesians 3:14–17

God, our Heavenly Father, Ruler of the world, with humble hearts we kneel before you in the greatest reverence of your holy name. Being your children, we bear your name, as Christians in Christ Jesus the Lord. You dispense your grace freely, out of the treasures of your glory, in Jesus’ name and it is in Jesus’ name that we beseech you to bestow your blessings upon us.

You have delivered us from perdition  and great transgressions, neither judging nor inflicting punishment by the number or nature of our iniquities. Teach us Father, to know your will and obediently fulfill all the statutes, commands and doctrines of your new covenant with us, taught to us by Jesus himself.

Lord, you gave us your only Son to suffer and die for our sins, as a ransom for our freedom from darkness, to dwell in the light of your Power and glory, fully redeemed and transformed into co-heirs of your Heavenly Kingdom.

Jesus fulfilled this Messianic plan and demonstrated the power of your love. You are the source of our strength, through your indwelling Spirit within us, leading, guiding, instructing and healing. By our faith, we trust in your loving mercy, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
