I assure you that the man who believes in me will do the same things that I have done, yes, and he will do even greater things than these, for I am going away to the Father. John 14:12

Father God we bless and magnify your Holy name, for your goodness and clemency can convert evildoers to the paths of holiness. Your supreme love can bring forth gold, from unburnished metal by passing it through the fire of purity, making it sanctified and unblemished.

You sent your beloved son Jesus, to rescue sinners and deliver them from damnation by the power of his sacrificial offering on the cross of our salvation. Jesus wrought many miracles and healing, even raising the dead to life and granted the apostles the grace to evangelize and perfom great deeds, preaching the Gospel in all the world with the aid of the holy spirit which our Lord sent on earth, to dwell within us as counselor and guide.

It is by faith that many are healed and by belief that we may witness conversion of a sinner, dead in trespasses to come to new life in Christ, by the power of the spirit. Faith can administer one born blind to see, one who was deaf to the threatenings of the law, and to the compelling voice of the Gospel, made to hear, so as to live, and one that had the spreading leprosy of sin all over him, cleansed from it by the blood of the lamb.

Father, Jesus accomplished his ministry successfully and renewed your covenant with us, endowing us by staunch faith to great works in his name. Help us to overcome adversity and fulfill the sacred commission entrusted to us, enabling us to fearlessly acknowledge our belief in the dogma and doctrine of your holy word, powerfully spreading the gospel for the conversion of multitudes of souls, thus giving you glory and gaining them redemption in Jesus’ name. Amen
