Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me, has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. John 5:24
O God of Righteousness, Ever Living God, we praise you in songs and melodies pleasing to you, Lord, in acclamation of the Mighty workings of your hands, in faith and belief that you are the Author of our lives and the God of our salvation. We acknowledge your Splendor and Majesty and rightly bow in humble submission and adoration.
We were languishing in perverse diversions, lost in the labyrinth of sin, slaves to the tempter’s guile. Lord, we disobeyed your goodness and took advantage of your Holy love. You are our Omniscient God and knowing the infidelity of our mortal nature had made provisions to save us, by sending your beloved Son Jesus, our Savior and Messiah, to redeem and restore us to you.
Lord, we are everlastingly grateful to you, for giving us your Grace, though we deserved your condemnation for offending your infinite benevolence towards your people. Our Lord Jesus forged a new Covenant between you, Father, and your undeserving people. By our faith we have received deliverance from sin and destruction and from inviting irredeemable punishment upon ourselves.
You withhold judgment on all those who believe and are redeemed by their unwavering faith, and who live in Christ and Christ in them, because the Father and Son are one, and all believers will become one with their God and be welcomed as children of God and eternal citizens of Heaven, through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
