Matthew 6:34

5 June, 2021

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34

God of Righteousness and Restoration, your perfect plans for mankind as a whole, and individually, are so thorough, complete and flawless, that nobody need worry about what is yet to come. We glorify your Majesty and marvel at the infinite works you have created, its complexities, which challenge our understanding but are perfectly clear to you. We, therefore, cast all cares of the unknown future set by you, to you.

Each day, Lord, carries new liabilities and lays before us new tests and obstacles, health issues, problems of family and finance, work and targets to meet. And evil plans and undertakings are ever around us, luring us to wrong paths. We need to be ever vigilant and adroit at chasing away or striving through them. We need your guidance and protection, counsel and constant succor to avoid and circumvent them, by your grace.

Lord, we solicit your assistance in toiling over matters only of the day, solving current complications which exist and have to be sorted out, and leave our worries for the future to our God, our Sustainer, our Deliverer. You, Lord, have, in your deep benevolence, taken away our cares for the morrow, when we most trustingly invoke and pray for your help. We place ourselves under your shielding preservation, confident in our faith and trust, seeking you in Jesus’ Name. Amen
