SALVATION DEMANDS PATIENCE AND DETERMINATION
“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” — Matthew 24:12-13
Jesus forewarns that in the last days, sin will become commonplace, causing many Christians to lose their passion for righteousness and their love for God. Yet, He declares, “he who endures to the end shall be saved.” Remaining steadfast on the narrow path of faith is challenging and requires complete surrender and dedication to the Lord. The good news is that God desires our success, even amid the worst tribulation.
Jesus promises, “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I will also keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth” (Revelation 3:10). Every effort to live righteously is worth it, knowing that our eternal destiny hinges on the choices and actions we make during our time on earth.
SUGGESTED PRAYER
Gracious Lord, how comforting and uplifting are Your promises! Thank You for Your assurance that if I love and follow You, I am under Your divine protection and guidance. Help me to recognize sin and resist temptation, never accepting them as normal, but instead detesting all that is evil while embracing all that is pure, good, and holy. I praise and glorify You, Lord, for You are worthy. I surrender my heart, my will, and my life to You completely. Amen
