Psalm 19:1

30 April, 2022

The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. – Psalm 19:1

God of creation, our Creator, our Maker, the Author of our lives, the Dispenser of irrefutable graces, the Deliverer and Giver of salvation, your magnificence, your eternal Goodness, your unmatched Greatness, are evident to all humankind, who can only gaze in awe-stricken wonder at the glory of your Majesty, the flawlessness and astounding works of your hands, the bountiful and countless hues and nature of your handiwork.

Your creation speaks for itself Lord, for no human word or gesture can explain the vast expanse, the multitudinous wonders, the immensity of all that the heavens and earth, the entire universe holds. Who can count the stars, the planets, the galaxies, the constellations, the precision of their movement, their correlation with each other, their infuence on the life on this earth. Who can measure time, the seasons following one upon the other, on which all life on earth, and all animate and inanimate creation depends? And all creation fashioned in just six days!

Not a single living soul can deny or ignore your Omnipotence, Omnipresence and Omniscience, Heavenly Father, your infallible governance, your inscrutable Ways, your unconditional love, which made you come into your own created world, to save your wretched creation and sanctify them for the sake of your glory in your creation, uplifting us all to sonship and making us co-heirs through Jesus, your incarnated Son and our Redeemer and Savior. We magnify the power, wisdom, and goodness of our Creator, for leading us on the path of righteousness and in solemn awe of, and veneration for your matchless glories, we reverence you Lord and beseech your forgiveness of our iniquities, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
