I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.
Psalm 32:8
Abba Father, we come before you, humble and contrite, bowing our heads in worship before our Wonderful Counselor, for we have absolute trust in you. We believe with a deep-rooted faith that you will never abandon us and will raise us up when we cry for mercy. You have granted us singular favours when we have observed your ordinances and obediently followed your Holy Will.
Father, please don’t turn your beatific countenance away from us when we err, because of our weak and fragile human nature. We express great thankfulness that you have rescued us, through our Messiah Jesus Christ from unavoidable death and destruction, and with your Holy plan of salvation, have made us beneficiaries of your pure light, making us righteous before you. We implore you to continue guiding and sustaining us.
With passion and zeal we walk with you, focusing on the direction you point out and journeying in the footsteps of our Lord Jesus. He abides in us, marking our direction, never taking his glance away from us, lest we stumble and fall. Even when we advance in your honor and service, you are watchful, knowing that the world, in its deceit might provoke us to sin. You call us to repentance, offering conversion and salvation for sinners. We pray that we stay on the path of righteousness, giving no cause for admonishment, believing in your promises in Jesus’ Name. Amen
