Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.

Lord our God, we come into your presence, with high praise and worship, honor and thanksgiving, glorifying your Holy Name, Who has saved us from dark dungeons of sin and evil doing and drawn us into the light of righteousness. We have been warned and are wary of the devil, always ready to pounce on unsuspecting and weak souls, to lure them into iniquity and transgression.
Hear our prayers, we entreat you, dear Heavenly Father. Let your will be done among us and for each one of us individually, according to your holy plan for our lives. May every event and incident be directed in the way you have chalked out for us, even if the way leads through tribulation, fear, and need. For in the end your goal will be reached, your purpose will be fulfilled, and your glorious kingdom will be established.
Help us to accept and overcome all challenges appearing in our lives and may we have the courage to stand firm in faith against the malevolent foe, keeping the honor of your name and battling to attain the redemption of all people still suffering on earth. Let your Word bring us blessing, Lord and may we go forward joyfully in the patience of the Christ until a new day dawns and we are allowed to witness and enjoy your glory and peace in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
