Matthew 11:28-30
Jesus said:
“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”
THE GOSPEL OF THE LORD!
REFLECTION
Jesus invites us to come to Him with all our worries, burdens, and weariness. He doesn’t promise to take away every hardship, but to give us rest in the middle of them. His yoke is easy not because life becomes effortless, but because He carries it with us. His meekness and humility show us how to live gently and trustingly, surrendering our pride and self-reliance to find true peace.
PRAYER
Lord Jesus, I come to You with all my worries and weariness. Teach me to rest in Your love and carry life’s burdens with You by my side. Make my heart meek and humble like Yours. Help me trust that Your yoke is light because You carry it with me. Amen
