31 MAY, 2026
John 3:16-18
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.
Whoever believes in him will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.”
THE GOSPEL OF THE LORD!

REFLECTION
These verses reveal the heart of God — love. God’s relationship with humanity begins not with condemnation, punishment, or rejection, but with a gift: His Son. The cross is not merely a sign of suffering; it is the greatest sign of divine love poured out for the world.
Jesus makes it clear that His mission is salvation, not condemnation. Many people carry burdens of guilt, fear, or failure, imagining that God stands at a distance waiting to judge. Yet Christ comes near to rescue, heal, and restore.

Belief in Jesus is not simply accepting ideas about Him; it is entrusting our lives to Him. Faith opens the door to hope, peace, and eternal life. Today’s Gospel invites us to live confidently in God’s love and to reflect that same love toward others.

PRAYER
Lord Jesus, thank You for the immeasurable love You have shown by giving Yourself for the salvation of the world. Help me to trust deeply in Your mercy and to live each day with faith and gratitude. Remove fear from my heart and teach me to share Your love with those around me. May I always remember that I am loved, called, and saved through You. Amen
