For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways. This is the very word of the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:8–9
Infinite and Eternal Father, pure and righteous, your ways are mysterious and beyond human comprehension. You are the Almighty and Sovereign God. You manifest your power and display your glory in the perfection and precision of your plans for your creation and your only desire is that the plan and purpose for our lives come to fruition with our participation and cooperation. We need to expand our belief in you so that our faith recognizes your faithfulness in establishing us as your children.
Father, your plans for us are so perfect, that understanding our imperfect nature and fickle sinfulness, you assumed control and worked your mighty plan of salvation for us through your Son Jesus, who showed us your way through your gospel of Truth. We are thus enabled to work towards perfecting our mortal ways to at least a semblance or imitation of your ways, through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
With unstinting belief and undoubted trust in your Word, we submit to your Holy Will, O God of all creation, for you are Immortal, occupying the lofty heavenly realms, while we are humble mortals journeying through earth, towards you. We hope to become worthy of a face to face encounter with you, through the constant companionship of the Holy Spirit, dwelling in our hearts, in Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen
